Lewis Hamilton's McLaren future in doubt after he holds talks with Red Bull boss Christian Horner

Lewis Hamilton's future with McLaren has
been cast into doubt after it emerged that
he held talks with Red Bull team principal
Christian Horner.
The meeting took place in Red Bull's offices
in the paddock of the Canadian Grand Prix
on Saturday night.

The 15-minute encounter came hours after
Hamilton had been left frustrated at
qualifying fifth despite predictions that he
would challenge Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel
for pole.
Sources close to both camps have confirmed
the meeting took place. Hamilton's deal with
McLaren is due to expire at the end of next
season and his team maintain they have
been kept in the dark as to the subject of
the discussions.
Hamilton is desperate to add to the world
title he won in 2008. But with Vettel firmly
on course to retain his crown, the
Stevenage-born racer must weigh up
whether to stay with McLaren.

Sir Stirling Moss has added to the criticism of
Hamilton levelled by former world champion
Niki Lauda, telling ITV: 'I think his conduct in
the Montreal race was quite wrong.
'He certainly should not drive the way he is
and he sets a bad example, particularly for a
man who is such a fantastic driver.
'His father is no longer his manager and I
wish he was because that would sort the
whole lot out.'
